Wednesday, February 02, 2005State of the Spot
I've said it before, and I'll say it again: a lot can happen in a year.
The last time I watched a state of the union was in Gerts with Liberal McGill. Free beer and a list of buzz words: when the president says "homeland", drink! Not bad. It was one of those times I went out even though I didn't want to and had fun despite myself. And tonight? The State of the Union pre-empted my craving for fictional politics, and I'm pissed. Stacy and I were going to watch the West Wing, dammit! We ate tomatoes with that lovely cheese and fresh basil instead. It's nice to be doing what I really like doing in my free time. I have become a connoisseur of my own taste. And I say: 1984 is pretty good. I stand by it. 0 comments
