The Spot

On Monday we're going to bid an early farewell to Sara G. I am pissed! Leave it to knee surgeons to pick an early August date for a working student's surgery. Pissed, I tell you!
Our room is going to be one roomie short for the last two weeks. But then... perfection! Disaster!
I meet Dan off the plane in.. two weeks minus a day. And the guides part in two weeks plus a day.



I don't know how to feel. I've missed Dan so much, it's hard not to get impatient. But then... I'm leaving the guides behind, and I'm going to really miss them too.
Bugger.

So time is both flying by and dragging by. To give the briefest of summaries:
May was Switzerland and Paris; June was many a bbq, Angie and Jon, London; July has been Gent and Boulogne, St-Germain en Laye and Strasbourg.

August and Italy will be best of all.
My only complaint is that with 7 guides in the house I can barely keep up with my e-mail, let alone the blogging, what with the trips and the parties and the soccer and the parties and the parties. I'll try to retroactivly post when I get back to Halifax and the new digs.
I think I'm going to remember this summer as one of the most amazing I've ever had. The only thing that keeps me from regretting it's passing is how much I have to look forward to.
