No... YOUR Father's Mustache 

I just got back from a much needed break a-la-pub. I'm so glad I went: Jeff was educating me on the merits of not burning out in the first term of school, which he knows a bit about. Still, I'm at the library now...
I found yet another example of the Simpson's relevance to everyday life today. Particularly, the episode where Homer prays to God, saying:

I offer you these cookies as a sign of my faith. If you want me to eat them for you, make absolutely no sign.

...

Thank you. [munch munch]


I was thinking about this scene in Contracts today. We were learning about conditions of acceptance using a US case from the 1800s. The court ruled you can't make silence an acceptance: Homer's deal with God is legally null and void.
