Today was a very good day.
CBC was showing the Lord of the Rings tonight, which was a bonus. I had just come back from the library, where I had *finally* found the statute I needed for my legal research and writing course. Turns out I'm not inept: everyone just needed the same book at the same time. Solution: being at the library after supper. There's something I like about biking in the rain. It's like I'm not supposed to be doing it, so it's even more exciting. And it's so exhilirating! I don't even have a nice bike and it's still thrilling to weave around leaves, potholes, pedestrians... I've got a *great* idea for the law school this year. All the first year reps are supposed to think of something new and exciting to start, and the best idea wins the dubious honor of added responsabilities: you get to put the project in place. So I was thinking... It's hard for me to get everyone's opinion about what's going on in terms of law school policy, and I've got to vote on all this stuff. How can I let everyone get in touch with me? Also, there's got to be a better way to organize potlucks, society meetings, upper year dinners, ect. than mass e-mails. And I came up with ... DalNet. It's like CUSIDnet, but for dal law students. I can hear the groans now. But I think it might be a good idea... 0 comments
