Sunday, October 24, 2004Imprisonment
I'm working on my Criminal homework, rather than studying Orientation to Law because, well, my oral exam for OTL is tomorrow. And I like putting things off as long as possible.
Reading section 743 of the criminal code gave me pause: 743: Imprisonment when no other provision - Every one who is convicted of an indictable offence for which no punishment is specially provided is liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years. This reminds me of my undergraduate years for some reason: every one who is in a degree for which no specific profession is provided is liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years? I'm trapped at school and I can't get out! If this were the 1800s I'd be living a life by now! In a rantable mood, I guess. [Thanks to Dan for providing more lovely summer pictures.] 0 comments
