Monday, September 13, 2004First Day *Ever*
Well, law school's not so bad! I found my first day of class interesting, much to my surprise. Better yet, despite my nervousness I was perfectly able to keep track of what my professor was talking about. My notes could use some structure, but they're legible. It's gonna be ok.
We'll see about tomorrow. More than one class, more readings, less breaks. My back is bothering me again, so I went to the Dal gym to see how I can exercise. Blarg. Halifax is ridiculous! No wonder we all have beer bellies! Almost 200$ to do cardio fitness at our gym. Wasn't McGill 35$? I guess I'll swim and jog. Ooh, I got to see Lee Coen in action, which Emilie will appreciate. The man is insanely passionate about his job. I hope I get to feel that way about what I do. Did you know that the 2nd world congress on abolishing the death penalty is being held in Montreal this October? Just prior to Thanksgiving. Be prepared for peaceful protests. [That's what Lee and other panelists were talking about today. Yay for conferences!] Emilie's coming up soon, so I have to clean my room. Again. Maybe I can get her to come out and see some Joel Plaskett... 0 comments
