Man.. I love that feeling when I get home and there's like, 5 new messages on my machine. I've gotta say, at first I had a bit of a social void to fill. But my patience has totally paid off. Should I go to debating Thursday, or play Risk with the Charles posse? I know: do both! Should I have dinner with Elyse tomorrow night, or watch French new wave film with Rux? I know: do both! Should I watch West Wing with the Can. studies group Wednesday, or watch Law and Order with Katherine? Umm... tough choice, actually. Probably neither.. because of Dickens!
I would worry about my Dickens paper due Thursday, except.. I probably wouldn't be working on it even if my time were free. Better spend the time breaking hearts, kicking ass and taking names.
Speaking of kicking ass.. I'm going debating this weekend! In Ottawa! Craziness: David will think I've moved. Maybe we can have a squash rematch!
What else... um, it's spring in Montreal? 8 degrees! I spent the whole day out and about. Apart from a tennis match and a conference, I was outside the whole time. Despite my best efforts, no sunburn yet :)
I'm sorry I didn't go to Halifax. It was kinda, well, awkward with Mom visiting. At the same time, some pretty wonderful things happened over the weekend.. so I'm glad I saved my travel voucher for my next vacation. Easter maybe. Or post-exam, pre-job! I hope I didn't let everyone down in the 'fax too bad. Y'all have been really awesome. I hope, if and when I get into Dahl law, we can celebrate together.
