Saturday, March 27, 2004A Girl Like Me Should Wear A Warning
I’m a gonna play wiffle ball tomorrow. Not that I really know what wiffle ball *is*, but I think it involves those hallow plastic balls with the holes through them. You know, the ones we used in gym?
Well, it promises to be fun. Especially considering the state of the field at the moment. -20 and 3 inches of snow to +13 and lots of rain.. in two days. It’s not so much a field as a lake. But we’ll be wiffling in it! Moments like these I wish I had clothes I could get good and muddy. No, wait. Sucess! One of Dave’s shirts! Hahaha.. it’s funny ‘cuz it’s true. Shoes will be a problem, though. Maybe I’ll just take them off. I remember with some delight the feeling of mud squising through my toes. It feels kinda good: you should try it sometime. I am also remembering with some delight last weekend. Tonight’s entertainment in no way compares with John and Myriam :) Now, I’m wondering.. if pulling a John means “ditching your friends for gay”, did I pull a Sarah last weekend? Speaking of which.. of all the so-called dates I’ve had lately, the guy I’m most eager to date again is furthest away. Possibly *because* he is so far away. I seem to remember having an affinity for impossible situations. I don't remember having such an affinity for breaking hearts. I should really straighten up and fly right. le sigh. 0 comments
