Sunday, January 18, 2004The return of looser
In the summer of '97 I missed half the seminar. But it remains a very big part of my memories of high school. Even though I missed half of it, I've heard about pretty much all of it. Especially the legend of looser.
Aparently, the summer school kids didn't appreciate us smartie-pants running around the academy for fun. Either way, when we left on the bus for a hike to Pollet's Cove, they held up a sign in the window, proclaiming us to be "loosers". Pretty funny. I never thought I would see that spelling again, but I did today: in the Concordia women's washrooms, written on the inside of a stall. Yes, even university students can misspell, and in a funny way, too. Wonderful news! I *did* break for public speaking finals. Spent the night dancing in celebration. Cross your fingers! 0 comments
