Monday, January 19, 2004Funner than I thought
Sometimes you just have to balance things in your mind. And tonight, going to the DU exec meeting seemed funner than coming home. And I was right, it was. I'm glad to be getting more involved.
They're being very fabulous. Lots to do, too. This weekend is Winter Carnival. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be seeing any of my UNB friends. You're right, it is prohibitively expensive for smaller clubs. Let's hope you guys grow by leaps and bounds as the years pass! Tomorrow is a liberal McGill drinking function. It actually sounds quite fun. We go to Gerts to see Bush's state-of-the-union address. Everytime he says something from a pre-determined list: "crisis" "fiscal responsability" and so on, we are to have another shot of beer. I don't think it would take very long to get loaded at all, so I'll probably be abstaining for the most part. Still, sounds like a fun time! Not only will we be debating US policy, we'll do so while drunk! It'll probably make more sense that way. 0 comments
