The Spot

Whoever said you don't need to drink to have a good time got it right.
I just spent the most wonderful evening in the company of real and true friends, and it feels great. You know what makes it really special? The people I didn't know before I went. I can still schmooze like the best of 'em, and that feels good.
I think we won our first and only round tonight, so we're 1 up. My partner is a jem, so we'll definitelly make the best of a good opportunity here. We're debating pretty well, considering how rusty I was, or am.
Who knows? Maybe we'll break. Maybe I'll do well in public speaking. ther way, I'm very glad I went.
Happy Birthday, Graham. Tonight was your surprise birthday party, and I was there in spirit. Next time we're out, you can have a round on me :)
